Technical Customer Support Specialist

CSL Staffing is looking for a self- motivated client support specialist! This is an immediate opening at an advanced technology, high reliability manufacturer, located in North San Diego county! They design and sell reliability materials used as circuit boards for the military, medical device and Aerospace applications. The company is very stable and been in business 40 Years! This is a temp to hire. Pay rate is $17.00- $18.00 per hour and benefits offered. Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.

Responsibilities:

· Interact with clients on the phone, Internet, and face-to-face in a professional manner

· Meet all customer needs and exceed expectations, upholding our strong reputation

· Follow directions given from more senior team members

· Continually expand your knowledge of our business in order to accurately answer questions and address client concerns

· Log all contacts in our customer database system accurately

· Maintain accurate and up to date client files

· Generate quotes from customer drawings, and timelines for clients as requested, will need to use a CAD program

· Suggest additional products and services of use to clients

· Investigate and pursue client leads, expanding our client base

· Conduct basic administrative tasks such and copying and filing, procuring business supplies

· Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for management Proactively seek solutions to problems, notifying Management when concerns arise

· Work well with team members

What are we looking for in candidates for this position?

· High school diploma or equivalent required

· 2– 4 year college degree preferred

· Familiarity with inch and metric units of measure, be able to convert

· Minimum 3 years’ experience working in customer service

· Significant work experience in quoting / sales is a plus

· Good communication skills, both written and verbal

· Outstanding phone and email etiquette

· Innovative thinker with a positive attitude

· Able to remain calm and professional, even with challenging clients

· Able to manage multiple accounts simultaneously

· Keen attention to detail and excellent memory, making clients feel known

· Ability to learn about our changing product line and articulate specifications readily

· Team-player mentality

· Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment

· Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office and databases, CAD a plus

· Familiarity with office equipment and multi-line phone systems

· Wordpress / website skill a plus.
