The CSI Companies is actively seeking a Customer Service Representative to support our client in the Kenner, LA area. This an exciting opportunity to join our client, a well-established Fortune 500 company. The ideal candidate has strong customer service experience and 2 years of experience working with excel.
Hours: M-F (8:30-5)
Summary: As a Customer Service Representative, you will support Medicare Part D (Med D) members and answer questions about their coverage and benefits as well as problem solve any concerns they may have.
Evaluate complex issues, use critical problem-solving techniques, and apply your critical thinking skills to suggest and implement appropriate solutions.
Conduct in depth research on member issues in order to provide quality resolution.
Construct written communication to members.
Multitask and work with up to 15 various computer applications.
Assess issues related to the pharmacy within Medicare Part D guidelines and resolve any issue with an appropriate plan and outcome.
Document the issue and resolution in the database, while adhering to the strict turnaround time established by the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
Share the outcome with the customer through verbal and/or written correspondence.
Work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic and regulated team environment.
Acquire and maintain basic knowledge of relevant and changing Med D policies and procedures
Verifiable high school diploma or equivalent
Experience as a customer service representative
2 years of experience working with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and Outlook
Health insurance experience a plus
