Commercial Property/Construction Manager (Retail Center)

We are looking for a highly energetic, organized and engaging Commercial Property/Construction Manager with experience managing retail shopping centers in the 150,000-400,000 square foot range [Class A- C property portfolio]. Are you action oriented, solution focused, resolve problems decisively and quickly? Are you Budget and cost conscious? Are you motivated to define the scope of construction and maintenance repairs and work with Contractors to meet Budget goals? Do you have commercial tenant relations experience? THIS IS NOT RESIDENTIAL. Only apply IF you have prior experience managing large COMMERCIAL Retail Multi-Tenant Shopping Centers

• 3+ years prior managerial experience in Commercial Construction/ Maintenance
• 3+ years prior managerial experience in Commercial Retail Property
• Familiarity with Commercial Real Estate Contracts, Lease Agreements and Renewals
• Ability to build rapport with Tenants and Contractors
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong computer literacy [MS Office Suite and Property Management Software (Yardi)]
• Bachelor degree preferred. RPA/CPM/RE License or education experience preferred
• Salary commensurate with experience, background, education and licensing


• Promptly collect and generate clear proposals for repairs and improvements
• Ensure the safety and welfare of Tenants and the Property
• Review and prepare commercial Real Estate documents [Lease Renewals, Service Contracts]
• Request back-up documents for Service Contracts
• Investigate & resolve Tenant complaints: HVAC, Roofing, Plumbing, Electrical, Parking Lot, etc
• Update and improve properties to increase return on investment
• Ensure all work orders and repair requests are processed in a timely fashion
• Assist in collecting and resolving rent and billing issues
• Site Inspections and Reports [Travel: 10%]
• Maintaining records, reports and files
