Job Description

Project Admin - Schaumburg, IL

$45,000 - $50,000

The Project Admin is part of the Project Management Team. This position supports the Project Coordination and Material Procurement areas.

Applications for Payment:

  • Manage and track quotes and estimates
  • Track project time and materials
  • After applications are approved; create Lien Waivers and distribute to Subcontractors
  • Track receipt of Original Lien Waivers and other pertinent documentation
  • Make change orders in the system
  • Assist with PO preparation, data entry, checking and tracking of material orders as required
  • Provide customer support via email and phone and ensure follow up
  • Assist with warranty and service call scheduling
  • Generate reports as requested
  • General office correspondence
  • Maintain files in accordance with company standards
  • Communicate with Field Supervisors as needed
  • Create and assemble new job files
  • Contact Vendors/Suppliers for pricing

Position Requirements:

  • Must be proficient with company software standards: Microsoft Office Suite, CRM and accounting software
  • Prior experience working for Commercial General Contractor or Subcontractor
  • Can interpret contract documents
  • Must be a motivated self-starting individual
  • Ability to work under pressure and multi-task
  • Possesses strong critical thinking, organizational and documentation skills
  • Displays professional written and oral communication skills and employs effective listening skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain existing company relationships
