Senior Data Analyst
The Senior Data Analyst works in partnership with the Innovation & Data Science team to create statistical models and analyses for the iCREF platform. We are a cross-functional team of data scientists, product managers, business analysts, and web developers who analyze data to develop intelligent solutions to complex data problems in healthcare and education. You will work closely with customers to understand their problems and constraints, to find the pieces of their information puzzle.
Core Responsibilities
- Understand and execute on the long-term vision and goals for the platform
- Work with cross-functional teams of product managers, engineers, designers, and analysts while playing a key role in organizing and communicating their work across the organization
- Assist with setting product strategy, prioritize features, build consensus, and coordinate feature releases and internal/external communications
- Work with the Director of Product Development to develop metrics to assess the success of product and features and determine necessary enhancements
- Work with project team to facilitate timely execution of project deliverables
- Create and update functional specification documents
- Communicate concerns and associated recommendations with iCREF application to the Director of Product Development; implement approved recommendations
- Assist with development of customizations and enhancements to the iCREF software package
Essential Skills and Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a business/data/product analyst
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Business, or related discipline required; Master’s degree strongly preferred
- Data Analytics experience required – Tableau/PowerBI, Alteryx, SQL, AWS, Google Cloud
- Product Management experience a plus
- QA experience a plus
- High level of problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage shifting priorities
- Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial or start-up environment
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
- Demonstrated leadership experience with a focus on quality, efficiency, and customer service
