Registered Nurse Responsibilities:
- Educate patients and families regarding resources, wellness, promotion, etc.
- Diagnose and treat a patient's unique responses to diagnosed health problems
- Perform health assessments
- Execute medical regimens as prescribed by physicians, dentists, nurse practitioners, etc.
- Perform comprehensive bio-psycho-social assessments
- Document all patient service in EMR
- Perform necessary triage functions
- Utilize Vista/CPRS to schedule patient appointments
- Develop and coordinate patient education programs
- Serve as liaison among nursing staff and providers to improve the clinical experience for patient, staff, and provider
- Other duties as assigned
- Primary Care experience preferred
- Registered Nurse holding one of the following degrees: A Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, a Master's Degree in Nursing. National Case Management certification preferred
- Must hold a current and valid nursing license in the state of CA
- A min of 2 years experience in an outpatient or primary care setting.
- Proficiency with computers and word processing software (MS Office Suite)
- Must hold a current and valid BLS certification by the AHA
