CPV Manufacturing, an industrial valve manufacturer located in Kennett Square, is looking for a Packaging Associate to join our team. Our company size of 50 people provides an opportunity for everyone to make a big impact on our success. This position is critical in our operation. Position Hours – Monday – Friday – 7:00am – 3:45pm. Reliability is key

Job Purpose: Completes orders by retrieving and packing manufactured metal products.

Duties:

Determines items to be packed by obtaining work orders

Retrieves inventory by locating and verifying materials

Stacking and securing materials in boxes or on pallets

Moving materials to staging area or to transportation vehicle

Marks and labels containers, tags, or products

Assembles and tapes cartons or containers

Maintains safe and clean work environment by following standards and procedures

Complying with quality regulations

Accomplishes warehousing/shipping and organization mission by completing related tasks as needed

Skills/Qualification

High School Diploma or equivalent

Must be comfortable in warehouse environment

Must be able to stand and move around for the entire shift

Able to lift up to 50 pounds

Must have excellent attention to detail
