Architectural BIM Manager -Hybrid position/ Different Locations! (Remote)

CPL seeks a senior Architectural BIM manager to lead our firm-wide BIM implantation/standardization initiatives. The BIM manager is responsible for proactively leading and developing policies and strategies within the areas of digital design, building information modeling, and design technology. Lead and develop the utilization and implementation of CPL technology best practices, champion the continued integration of BIM across practice areas, coordinate with external BIM content/workflow consultants and collaborate with each of our design studios.

Locations available: Buffalo/ NY, Charlotte/ NC, Raleigh/ NC, Greenville/SC, Greensboro/NC, Newburgh/ NY, Rochester/ NY, Suwanee/GA, Woodstock/ GA, Albany/ NY, Hudson Valley/ NY, Pittsburgh/ PA, Westchester/ NY and Tampa, FL.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, 5+ years BIM production experience in Architecture

• Experience with design visualization applications such as Enscape, Lumion and/or AutoDesk 360

• Experience with computational design applications such as Dynamo and Grasshopper

• Uses collaboration, standards-checking, and clash detection tools for viewing and coordinating BIM (Newforma, BIM360 Docs, Navisworks)

• Works collaboratively with project teams to find solutions for rendering and advanced modeling.

• Ability to establish and coordinate BIM protocols and execution plan for projects

• Ability to lead, coach and develop others

• Strong planning and organization skills

• An entrepreneurial spirit who embraces change and constantly seeks out new opportunities for creativity, innovation and design tools

RESPONSBILITIES

• Encourage compliance with CPL delivery and BIM standards for all projects across all offices

• Adapt and adjust the work-flow strategy to support efficient BIM utilization/implementation

• Develop and lead the team of in-house BIM experts within the studios and across the organization

• Advance and strengthen relationships with office and studio leaders by improving communication and transparency, and involvement with project start up

• Continuously review and recommend the optimal BIM related software and develop business cases for new investments

• Create modeling protocols that allow for export of Revit content to analysis/visualization software and/or other BIM software

• Organize information and training sessions related to BIM processes, and offers guidance to staff and management regarding training needs

• Develop learning material, coordinate effective training and provides ongoing support to Revit project teams

The rate for this position generally ranges between $78k - $117k annually. This range is a good faith estimate provided pursuant to the New York Pay Transparency Law. It is based on what a successful New York applicant might be paid and assumes that the successful candidate will be in New York or perform the position from New York. Similar positions located outside of New York will not necessarily receive the same compensation. Actual pay rates may vary from the range, as permitted by New York Equal Pay Transparency Law. Compensation offers will be based on various factors, including operational needs, individual education, qualifications and experience, work location and comparison to employees already in the role, as well as other considerations permitted by law.
