Duties are to assist with administrative duties supporting engineering firm. Answer phones, open and distribute mail, multi-task to meet deadlines in connection with contracts, licensing, and general office administration. Perform other administrative duties as requested or needed.
+ Answer routine inquires, directs visitors to proper locations
+ Perform routine clerical tasks such as filing, answering and screening telephone calls, maintaining office files and various logs
+ Assist with travel arrangements
+ Coordinate and communicate (verbal and written) effectively on behalf of supported managers including drafting and preparing a variety of written correspondence for internal and external clients
+ Prepare outgoing mail and packages for delivery
+ Receive, sort, and distribute mail
+ Keep inventory and order office supplies
+ Other related duties as may be assigned
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
+ Ability to work with and protect confidential information under all circumstances
+ Strong verbal and writing skills in English to meet client deliverable requirements
+ Proficient (intermediate level user) in MS Office Suite Professional, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
+ Must be detail oriented, have good time management, and adaptable to changing priorities based on business needs
+ Ability to think and work independently
+ Strong attention to detail
+ Ability to occasionally work overtime
+ Valid driver?s license with an acceptable driving record for company insurance required
+ Ability to lift 25 pounds, frequent bending, squatting, sitting, walking, and use of computers for high volume, accurate data entry
+ Pass pre-employment substance abuse screening, background screening including previous employment, education, criminal history, and driving record verification
+ Bachelor?s Degree
+ 2 years prior experience in an administrative support role
