ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY: Comtech is looking for professional instructors to deliver Cyberspace Operations (CO) training to Department of Defense personnel at the Center for Information Warfare Training (CIWT), Corry Station, Pensacola, FL. Applicants must possess the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the level required by each assigned task. PRIMARY DUTIES: * Deliver highly technical CO training in a military training environment consisting of lectures, labs, exercises and other delivery methods. * Assist with developing CO training curriculum (lecture content, student/instructor guides, exams, exercises, simulations, etc.). CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must possess: * Applicants must possess the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the level required by each assigned task. * EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree is desired. Degree requirements can be waived for those persons with extensive CO-related work experience (preferably within the Department of Defense or Intelligence Community). Please refer to specific Position Descriptions (PD) below for any additional educational requirements and recommendations. * Experience in adult learning with emphasis on providing instruction to large classes.

US Military instructor certification or designation is highly desirable (e.g., teaching certificate, certified professional instructor, master training specialist, adjunct faculty certification, etc.). * All candidates must possess strong oral and written communication skills, and be comfortable in a classroom training environment with up to twenty students. * DoD 8140.01/DoD 8570.01-M Level II certifications are desired, but not required. SKILLS REQUIRED: DOD Instructor - Active Exploitation (Intermediate/Advanced Level) The candidate shall provide classroom instruction that teaches assigned students in the manner described in the course Program of Instruction. The Instructor shall conduct practical exercises in a laboratory environment, conduct student study hall periods and provide tutoring/remedial instruction. Capabilities: * Incorporate technical knowledge into training delivery. * Assess student knowledge, skills and abilities to gauge student proficiency in topic area. * Deliver instruction via interactive synchronous and asynchronous learning activities. * Review and analyze training materials and recommend changes. Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree plus two (2) years of experience in Cyberspace Operations (CO). Experience in CO is defined as experience in Defensive Cyberspace Operations (DCO), and/or Offensive Cyberspace Operations (OCO). * In lieu of degree, four (4) years of experience in Cyberspace Operations (CO). * Candidate must possess sound knowledge in the following topical areas: Advanced knowledge/experience using Windows/NIX command line: * Display running processes * Identify OS/kernel version * Identify network connections * Navigation of the filesystem * Intermediate knowledge/experience using routers to include: * Commands to display running configuration * Analyze a router configuration * Intermediate knowledge/experience with Personal Host Based Security Products: * Anti-virus * Firewall * Intermediate knowledge/experience of SSH to include: * Connecting to computers * Establishing tunnels * Intermediate knowledge/experience using Exploitation tools: * Metasploit, Armitage, Cobalt Strike, or Empire * Network Scanners (NMAP, Zenmap, Scanline, etc.) * Netcat Additional experience, educational, or certification recommendations beyond those listed above: * 4+ years CNE/CNA/CND or penetration testing experience * Exploitation certification, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or other, or Operator experience/training is desired Comtech offers a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits and flexible paid time off options, for eligible employees: * Medical, Dental and Vision, Health Savings Account, Flexible Spending Account * STD, LTD, Supplemental Life insurance and AD&D * Comprehensive 401k plan and Employee stock purchase plan * Tuition Assistance * Vacation, Personal and Sick time * 10 paid holidays * Bereavement and jury duty leave TeleCommunication Systems, Inc.
