Assistant Teacher / Intern Teacher: Middle & High School - APPLY TODAY!

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour - Work hours: 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Community Leadership Academy (PK-5) and Victory Preparatory Academy (6-12) are committed to delivering a higher level of academic learning to all students. As part of the school experience, we engage Assistant/Intern Teachers to provide interventions and co-teach with the classroom teacher. This provides time to enhance the education of our students and to provide the school an internal candidate pool for future openings in the classroom as full-time teachers and provides the applicant an opportunity to see if education is a good fit for their future journey.

Job overview:

• Work under the supervision of classroom teacher and administrator
• May help plan and teach lessons
• Support students one-on-one or in small groups
• Help create or copy instructional materials
• Grade students' work
• Supervise students before/after school and during recess

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree
