Job Summary:

The Senior Graphic designers’ role will be to create visual concepts using computer software, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate the recipients desire to use Collette as their means to travel. A Senior Graphic Designer will develop the overall concept, layout and design for advertisements, brochures, magazines, digital platforms, and company projects to meet business needs.

Primary Functions:

  • Create digital concept(s) that promotes the product(s) and/or messaging. Determine the cadence of information and identify this through selecting colors, images, text font/style and/or creating graphics, all within Brand Standards.
  • Meet with the Project Owner to determine the strategy and scope of a project, then coordinate with copywriter to understand the messaging to be used. Determine the proper vehicle to communicate the information needed. Proper vehicle could be either print, web, social or video (or any combination of these listed).
  • Review concepts with Art Director and/or Director of Creative Services and implement needed adjustments. Then present finished concept back to Project Owner and Marketing Team for assessment of meeting business needs.
  • After artwork has been presented and approved, prep final digital concept for hand-off to Studio Designer.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Expertise in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator in a Macintosh environment necessary.
  • Additional knowledge of Microsoft Office, Photo Resourcing, Facebook, Twitter, and Digital Work Management Systems preferred.
  • Photography and/or web experience a plus.
  • Knowledge and understanding of print processes and responsive digital design with the ability to “think outside of the box”, collaborate, take direction.
  • Three to Five years’ experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred; experience may be substituted for education.
  • Desire and ability to travel at least once a year.
