Child Care Assistant

CLIC Montessori is looking for a part-time Assistant to join our growing team! Our ideal candidate is caring, compassionate, attentive and would love a career working with children. Job Description:

• Supervise and maintain a safe environment for children 6 months to 5 years old
• Keep all interactive areas sanitary
• Sterilize toys and play areas at the end of the day
• Monitor children during activities and interact with them to enhance their learning
• Maintain open communication with parents
• Help children discover new interests by introducing them to art, music, sports, and other activities
• Prep and serve meals
• Help children maintain good hygiene
• Change diapers and toilet train
• Monitor children for health, behavioral and emotional concerns
• Report any suspect abuse to supervisor
