Job Description

About the Role

Reporting to the Vice President of Sales based in Denver, this role is responsible for delivering sales primarily by managing existing relationships with our current distributors, identifying and vetting new strategic partnerships with resellers and uncovering new opportunities with end-users. Leadership qualities are essential to be successful in this role, you must be able to communicate and become a trusted point of influence. You’ll cultivate a pipeline of prospective sales, close opportunities, sign up new partners and ensure a fantastic customer experience with all.  

Based at a home office, your territory is focussed in Southern California (but includes to a lesser degree Las Vegas and Arizona). 

On a day to day basis your responsibilities include: 

  • Increasing revenue across your territory by working with existing distributors and external reps 

  • Ensuring targets are met and exceeded 

  • Growing our partner network (distributors, resellers, installers) 

  • Ensuring complete coverage over account territory  

  • Developing rapport with partners and end-users to cement our reputation as market leaders  

  • Championing our brand and continually improving our relationships  

  • Utilising knowledge of the market and our competitors, to identify and develop unique selling propositions 

  • Providing product expertise to existing customers, with assistance from our technical support team 

  • Identifying new resellers and assisting with comprehensive on-boarding and ongoing sales support 

About you: 

  • Demonstrated sales track record in an outside sales/channel role within the software/technology/security industries 

  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills - attitude and enthusiasm is absolute key in this role  

  • Exceptional organization and self-motivation  

  • Problem solving skills with strong business acumen 

  • Demonstrated accountability to targets  

  • Ability to work autonomously but also as part of a wider team
