We are a fast growing CPA firm seeking a senior level tax professional or manager on a part-time basis who can independently prepare and review individual and business tax returns. We provide a great working environment for someone that seeks a balance between work and raising a family. Position will require greater hours during tax season. The minimum requirements and qualifications we seek are as follows:
-4-6 years of tax experience in individual and small business returns including proficiency in reviewing client financial statements and making adjustments prior to tax return preparation.
-Ability to work independently with little to no supervision, highly organized, excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Ability to independently perform tax research on a needed basis and out of state tax returns including tax deferred exchange
-Strong accounting foundation and background. Ability to read financial statements and perform necessary reconciliations and propose adjustments to financial statements.
-Possess the following qualities - professional, trustworthy, detail-oriented, self-starter, well organized, analytical, ability to take constructive criticism, deadline oriented and multi-tasker.
-Familiarity with Lacerte, Quickbooks and MS Office program.
-CPA or CPA candidate required, B.S in Accounting and preferably with a MS in Taxation.
