The Business Analyst will lead two workstreams within a CGI project that are highly dependent on one another: Organizational Effectiveness and Conencted Factory Governance. The Organizational Effectiveness requires the BA to work with the workstream team to assess the system support / service model RACI across manufacturing sites (support above Level 1), look at gaps at specific sites and globally, and create a plan to deliver a consistent RACI across sites. Connected Factory Governance is focused on identifying, developing, enabling and deploying consistent system support standards across the QC lab and manufacturing sites. The two workstreams encompass the lab and manufacturing system service transformation into a sustainable model that meets the end users' needs.
He or she should minimally have 5-7 years of experience in the Life Sciences (5-7 years of Life Sciences BA experience, and should have 3-5 years of managing projects or leading workstreams). Specifically, the BA is expected to be familiar with systems used in Life Sciences QC Labs and on the Manufacturing shop floor and service model best practices to support those in-scope systems. The individual should be self-motivated, have good interpersonal skills, and have the ability to work with a diverse, global team.
FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, THE FOLLOWING:
Lead analysis of current service model RACI across global QC and Manufacturing sites
Document results of analysis
Identify service model RACI gaps and identify remediation solution to improve end-user experience and create a consistent approach to support
Use knowledge of Life Science lab/manufacturing service model best practices to design a future state solution
Develop tactical implementation plan for improvement in service model
Identify, develop, enable and deploy consistent system support standards across the QC lab and manufacturing sites
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE
SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
Bachelor's degree (preferred in Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline)
Strong knowledge of lab/manufacturing systems and service models
Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs, with the ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence
Ability to analyze, articulate and solve problems
Ability to learn quickly, move with agility between assignments, multi-task, and to work effectively in a team environment, both face-to-face and remotely
Ability to support projects from inception to successful implementation
