Overview of the Project Management Application Support Analyst role:

  • Responsible for project management tasks and assists in interdepartmental projects
  • Creation of scope documents
  • Responsible for implementing business processes
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to departmental initiatives
  • Responsible for improving and documenting the technical processes around application support
  • Ensure the performance of daily health checks of the applications, scripts, and infrastructure
  • Responsible for monitoring and responding to open tickets submitted through an incident
    management system
  • Serve as back-up for specific tasks within the IT department as directed

Project Management Application Support Analyst Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in a related technical or business area
  • 3 year(s) of experience working in an applications production support/application development environment
  • Prior Project Management (PM) expereince, knowledge of PM methodologies, and scope document creation
  • Must have basic knowledge of SQL
  • Knowledge of multiple systems, as well as an in-depth understanding of the functionality for these systems to troubleshoot and resolve application or infrastructure issues
    • SharePoint and/or Dynamics expereince a plus
  • Prior production support, implementation and system management experience
