Job Description

The Quality Assurance & Compliance Manager evaluates, designs, executes, measures, monitors and controls business processes to meet the quality and compliance requisites of the company. The manager focuses on the entire process from beginning to end, introducing innovation into the process that can impact results, enhance profitability and assist the organization to meet its compliance and business objectives and goals, promoting new process innovation to achieve the cultural shift required to help the organization embrace new innovation and required compliance requires an individual with resolve and tenacity.

  • Under the supervision of the General Manager works with teams to prepare and conduct process improvement events. The incumbent will develop and prepare materials for use in the events, coordinate with department management and participants, lead instruction on the use of process improvement tools, facilitate team decisions, manage team work, resolve team conflict, assist in the development of implementation action plans, and conduct follow-up.
  • Presents, facilitates and leads assigned process improvement events using methods of culture-project management and state of the art presentation and platform skills.
  • Appropriate team building, team energizing data gathering and analysis, problem solving.
  • Seeks and evaluates process improvement, Lean and Six Sigma principles, materials, and methods to match specific organizational needs as outlined by management, and adapts them to use in the execution of process improvement events.
  • Adheres to all company Policies and Procedures and actively promotes Continuous Improvement and its activities and services to others.
  • Coordinates Onsite and Remote Audits (Internal and External).
  • Oversee and Coordinate Incident Management process to include identification, logging, tracking, root cause and investigation, remediation, corrective action, Post closure audit and monthly reporting.
  • Devises and establishes company's compliance and quality procedures, standards and specifications in conjunction with operating staff; setting up and maintaining controls and documentation procedures. Manage process improvement controls, sample approval, design process workflows, oversee customer audits and systems compliance (i.e. HIPAA, CMS, PCI, PII, PHI).
  • Reviews client requirements and making sure the requirements are in compliance with plant quality capabilities.
  • Creates and reports monthly quality control summaries to include Purpose and objectives, P&P, Measurement processes, Data Analysis, Corrective action and Continual Improvement recommendations.
  • Works to deliver quality checks required at various stages of production such as color approvals, correct pagination for impositions and signatures, and proper trimming, folds, inserting, assembly and pack out.
  • Reviews, writes, tests Quality SOPs for plant documentation. Looks for ways to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
  • Can conform to shifting priorities and demands through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Coordinate functions with Cenveo Corporate Compliance Manager, General Manager, Plant Manager, HR Manager and Client compliance teams as needed to coordinate with the Plant Quality and Compliance initiatives.
