For more information, please visit [redacted] ENGINEERThe Project Engineer has the responsibility of providing technical support for all project-related engineering tasks, including but not limited to calculations, design, drawing review, component selection, and customer interface.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Perform technical review of projects to determine plan of action for completion Perform calculations as required to validate equipment design, including stress analyses using finite element analysis (FEA) Support design and drafting activities Serve as technical project contact for internal and external customers Support sales/applications department with inquiry review and consultation Review and approve design drawings and specifications Prepare specifications for procurement of equipment and system accessories Review supplier quotations for conformance and contract reward recommendation Assist quality assurance department to resolve nonconformance issues Serve as a backup to the project management team.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE BSME from an accredited program with an interest in mechanics, fluid flow, and thermal sciences Understanding of codes and standards (ASME BPVC, API, ANSI, ASCE, NFPA, AWS, ASTM) Pressure vessel design experience Structural steel design experience 3-D modeling experience (Autodesk Inventor) Experience working with materials used in corrosive and/or high-temperature environments Experience working with technical specifications Experience performing static linear stress analysis using FEA software Knowledge of plate and sheet metal fabrication including weld processes Good organization and communication skills Experience working in an engineering and design environment as a team leader Ability to work in fast-paced environment Experience working with pollution control and product recovery equipment a plus Experience managing equipment design and supply projects a plus.CECO Environmental offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package including life, medical, dental, vision, flexible spending accounts, disability coverage, 4
