Job Description

CBC Education is looking for motivated individuals to provide in-home (ABA) Applied Behavior Analysis services to individuals with disabilities such as Autism, Intellectual Disabilities, and Down Syndrome. We service clients in various cities near you (Torrance, South Gate, Huntington Park, Whittier, El Monte, Baldwin Park, South LA, East LA, San Gabriel, Mid City, Korea town, Pomona, etc.)

ABOUT THE POSITION:

  • Driving to the homes of our clients and providing ABA services for 2-4 hours per session.
  • Reading and following a Behavior Intervention Plan (taught in our training).
  • Teaching clients communication skills, social skills, and adaptive skills.
  • Taking data on client progress (parents too).
  • Addressing problem behaviors with ABA techniques and teaching parents ABA techniques.
  • Providing constructive feedback to clients/parents and being a motivator for our clients.
  • Being available for a minimum of 15 hours per week (2 pm - 7:30 pm [M-F], 9am - 5 pm on Saturdays)
  • Working with families from diverse ethnic and economic backgrounds.
  • Strong ability to maintain professional boundaries with families.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma, BA in Psychology or related field (near completion is ok)
  • Previous experience working with children (preferred but not required)
  • Daily Computer with a webcam & reliable internet Access
  • Bilingual preferred (Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin, Vietnamese)
  • Reliable transportation & willing to drive 25 miles from our office (San Gabriel, CA)
  • Great communication and problem-solving skills.
