Job description

American Medical is distributor of medical grade oxygen therapy equipment and has an immediate opening for a full time warehouse associate position. We are looking for a motivated and hard working individual interested in helping us grow our business. The successful employee will learn all stations of the warehouse and be able to fill in and rotate as necessary. We are a team with a positive and supportive attitude and need another strong team member.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Inspect, prepare, package product for shipment
• Receive, inspect, and stock items in accordance with company procedures
• Cross Training to become fully functional in all warehouse stations
• Learn and adhere to ACHC safety/sanitation requirements
• Follow appropriate SOP’s for each station / task
• Routine cycle counting / inventory Co
• Complete special projects as necessary as assigned by management
• Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and safe (5S)
• Some Saturday shifts will be required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-task environment
• Must be reliable and punctual
• Computer literate including Microsoft Outlook and the Internet
• Excellent organizational skills and able to independently manage time
• Able to adapt to process changes and changing work priorities.
• Must be able to follow procedures as documented
• Ability and desire to work in a team environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for interfacing with co-workers, supervisors, and customers
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
• Provide valid Drivers License and proof of Insurance

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or GED

• 3 years warehouse experience (preferred)
• Pallet jack experience, (preferred)

PAY AND BENEFITS

• $18 / hour
