CACI is looking for a Technical Writer Intern to support the Department of the Air Force (DAF) Enterprise IT as a Service (EITaaS) program.

On the EITaaS program, CACI will deliver enhanced capabilities and services to implement and operate an enterprise ITSM solution, enterprise service desk, endpoint management and security solution, as well as CONUS/OCONUS field support and life cycle support for end user devices to enable the DAF to transition focus from IT operations to mission operations.

What You'll Get to Do:

You will be responsible for supporting the production of documentation and reports from program systems.

Responsibilities include:

  • Authoring content in accordance with guidance and inputs from the team
  • Work with stakeholders to translate functional requirements into technical specifications
  • Proofreading material to ensure conformance to DoD and CACI standards
  • Review of technical documentation
  • Production of technical and scientific illustrations
  • Formatting documents in accordance with the style guide
  • Technical awareness and ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly
  • Provide responsive, timely and high-quality support to end users regarding their technical inquiries, providing resolution through critical thinking, technical proficiency, and excellent communication
  • Research, resolve, and respond to questions received via emails, chat, and collaboration tools
  • Acquire and maintain knowledge of updated supported technologies to ensure accurate solutions to customers
  • Ability to learn new concepts very quickly
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • High level of performance with strong multitasking abilities
  • Flexible, team player, "get-it-done" personality - The environment is highly dynamic
  • Ability to organize and plan work independently
  • Communicate effectively and collaboratively with customers, stakeholders, and peers


You'll Bring These Qualifications:
  • Ability to obtain Secret Security Clearance
  • Rising college junior or senior, expected graduation 2024-2026
  • Excellent verbal and written commuincation skills
  • The ability to distill complex information into clear, concise text.
  • Demonstrated excellent writing and grammar skills
  • The ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Experience working in a DoD environment
  • Experience with MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Project, Visio) and SharePoint

The pay and benefits provided for this position will meet or exceed the minimum required amounts detailed in the wage determination issued by the Department of Labor and made applicable to this position, as incorporated into CACI's government contract for the work location.

Minimum Required Hourly Wage:
$25.18
