Our Opportunity:

We are seeking a Director, Human Resources Business Partner to support our growing organization. The ideal candidate will be proactive, creative, and strategic. This person will be a strategic HR Partner supporting our Discovery organization in addition to focusing on talent management, employee relations, performance management, and organizational design. In this role, you will collaborate cross-functionally with the rest of the HR team to ensure organizational effectiveness within the business teams. This position will report to the Chief People Officer.

The Role:

  • Take a proactive approach to partner with business groups to anticipate, assess, and provide HR solutions in relation to business needs
  • Support senior management in translating company mission and business goals into sustainable organizational programs, practices, and behaviors
  • Support the development and implementation of talent management initiatives and programs, including performance management, competency modeling, employee development, management development, and career development/succession planning
  • Create and lead Diversity, Equity & Inclusion plans and associated activities for the Company
  • Provide timely and effective advice on HR-related matters to employees and managers
  • Support efforts around increasing employee and manager engagement
  • Coach functional management to increase people manager acumen and accountability
  • Act as an employee champion and identify trends to help inform/support management to build an effective culture at C4 Therapeutics
  • Take a systemic and data-driven approach to influencing strategies and helping solve emerging organizational/talent challenges.
  • Support and contributes to a culture of collaboration and learning that aligns with the C4T Values.

Your Background:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or Industrial Relations, or MBA preferred
  • 8+ years of HR experience including 3+ years Human Resources Business Partner experience.
  • Experience in the Biopharmaceutical industry is a plus
  • Strong MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong project management capability and experience leading HR programs; Strong organizational skills in order to maintain a high level of productivity, innovation, and priority-setting
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills with a demonstrated ability to build relationships with senior and executive leaders
  • Strong knowledge of organizational development, employment law, employee relations, diversity & inclusion, and performance management
