Job Description
ElasticSearch Software Engineer (1166348)
Location: Remote
Contract: 6 months Contract to Perm (Citizens and GC only)
We are looking for a contract Software Engineer with 5+years of experience
What the role entails:
- Participating in design discussions, building prototypes and contributing to delivering high-quality products/features
- Collaborating across geographies and teams
- Developing in a Microsoft environment (Visual Studio, Windows, etc.)
- Following the coding standard the team has defined
- Take on Agile roles where necessary
Key requirements:
- MS/BS in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or related field of study with 5+ years of relevant experience
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Must have experience in C#
- Must have extensive Elasticsearch knowledge and experience with large clusters
- Experience working in Linux
- Proficient in SQL (SQL Server or Azure SQL)
- Familiar with API design and security concepts (authentication/authorization)
- Understanding of Secure Software Development practices
Nice to Have:
- Cloud development experience (Azure is an extra plus!)
