C² Technologies, Inc. is seeking Multimedia Designer who are capable of delivering a high volume of diverse graphics and concepts in a multi-client/multi-project environment.
Summary
Multimedia Designer and agency will be required to develop courseware that are placed on a Department of Justice learning management system and must be in compliance with the applicable requirements of Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended 29 U.S.C. 794d by the Workforce Investment Act of 1998. The technical standards provide criteria specific to six main categories: Software applications and operating systems, web-based information or applications, Telecommunication products, video, or multimedia products, self-contained, closed products such as information kiosks or fax machines, desktop, and portable computers.

Assist in the production of the following: Marketing Materials, Written Correspondences, Web Based Notices, Web Pages, Program Analysis, Procedures and Standards Documents, Standard Operating Procedures, Written Project Management Plans, Risk Assessment, Recommendations and Periodic Status Reports, Spreadsheets, Competency and Proficiency Study Survey Results Analysis, Tutorials, videos, illustrations, presentations, interactive assessments, webinars, organizational charts, Staffing Models which might include new roles and responsibilities of any new position. Specific training materials that might include written training, Power Points, curriculum training sequence documents, user guides, presentations, training manuals, teaching aides, practical exercise documents, written evaluations, and written agendas. This list is neither all-inclusive nor limited to other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Design eLearning that is developed and delivered via electronic means such as Computer Based Training (CBT) and Web Based Training (WBT) modules as well as design and production of USMS, TD and classroom presentation support material.
- Enhance course development fully visually and perform multi-media graphic design and develop and implement web based and computer-based training modules and classroom-based presentation support materials.
- Translate ideas and concepts into learning and ensure quality and consistency in the development process.
- Develop, deploy, support, enhance, and maintain eLearning course modules by creating and editing images, photos, video, audio, and animations for use in all learning formats for the Training Division and training of the agency.
- Design, create and produce training material, logos, banners, marketing materials, stand-up classroom presentation support material, training aids, enhance and implement the curriculum development process within the Training Division of the agency.
- Work independently or in collaboration with agency subject matter experts, Curriculum Developers, Learning Management System Administrator(s), and other United States Marshals Service (USMS) employees and contractors. The position will work on multiple projects at one time and creatively translate abstract concepts and ideas into an effective visual form for use by a variety of media with an emphasis on eLearning and web-based modules.
- Utilize instructional system designs methodology and provide instructional· performance documents for specific curriculum development.
- Design interactive web pages, web content, and eLearning modules with enhanced graphics that stimulate student/user/viewer experience with minimal load time and incorporate the use of audio- and video-based media to enhance learner engagement.
- Develop graphics and media in eLearning modules and lessons that consist of user-friendly interfaces and consistent lesson structure, instructional blocks that provide meaningful training and meet instructional system design methodology. Modules and lessons must also be Shareable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) compliant.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree: Major study -- commercial art, fine arts, art history, industrial design, architecture, drafting, interior design, photography, visual communication, or other fields related to the position.
Five or more years of specialized experience which includes: (1) web-based media, graphic design, and production tools; (2) design and development of graphic and multimedia curriculum content, training materials, training modules, and teaching aids with specific experience in eLearning; (3) experience with Captivate, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Presenter, and Java; (4) 3D animation software packages in order to design effective presentations. This position is critical to provide visual enhancement, instruction, and support to all eLearning products for the learning management system.
