Basic Qualifications:

0 years Bachelors in Science, Mechanical or Structural Engineering

Preferred Design Disciplines:

An intuitive knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical systems and components along with troubleshooting and problem solving skills. An understanding of shock and vibration principles and theories and an understanding of general ship construction. Experience with test instrumentation and testing practices. The ability, or the ability to train, to model and perform analysis of equipment for shock and vibration worthiness using Femap and NASTRAN.

Applies research to the planning, design, development, and testing of mechanical and/or electromechanical systems, instruments, controls, engines, and/or machines.

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Ability to apply standard engineering practices, scientific principles and techniques to specific situations and recognize discrepancies.

In 2009 we received our Secret Facility Security clearance which allows us to work in just about any environment. C.A.
