Warehouse Associate

At C & A Scientific, we are a family-owned company specializing in the manufacturing and private labeling of medical equipment and consumables, science education products, and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) toys. For over 30 years, we have supplied more than 700 award-winning medical and STEM-inspired products to distributors and retailers worldwide. 

Here at C&A Scientific, we are looking for a full-time Warehouse Associate. This individual will be responsible for all aspects of receiving, storing, and shipping materials in C&A’s warehouse. The ideal candidate will be able to build a relationship with our internal teams and grow within the company. 

Responsibilities:

• Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in the warehouse
• Ship orders through designated carrier's shipping software
• Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in our warehouse or other areas
• Receive and count stock items, recording data manually or by using a computer
• Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electronic marking tools, or other labeling equipment
• Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects and report the damage to management
• Examine shipment contents and compare with records such as manifests, invoices, or orders to verify accuracy
• Estimate freight or postal rates and record shipment costs and weights

Required Qualifications:

• High school or equivalent level of education
• Able to lift up to 70 pounds
• Able to operate the forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment
• English reading, writing, and communication skills
• Basic computer skills including data entry
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in shipping and receiving
