Customer Experience Representative

Entry-level Part time/Full time/Night Shift Only

$18 per hour

Byte to Bite Industries is one of the fastest growing food delivery platforms in California and we are looking to expand our customer service team. Byte to Bite Industries is bridging the gap between online ordering and the experience of personalized service usually reserved for restaurant dining. Getting your food delivered doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be able to receive 5 star customer service and we’re hoping that you will be the one to help us bridge that gap.

About the job:

This role is reporting directly to Kira Holden, Customer Experience Manager.

Our Customer Service Representatives are the direct line between our customers and all of our locations. Once trained you will be able to answer any questions our customers might have as well as be able to assist them with any questions they may have regarding their orders, menu details, restaurant locations, restaurants hours of operations, payment inquiries and more. Our Representatives will be working directly with our kitchens to assure that our customer’s needs are being completely fulfilled. When not assisting customers our Representatives will be continuously  checking that all our locations are online and operational on all major delivery brands. Representatives will also have the duty of working with all major delivery brands to confirm and inquiry about all payment, refund, and reimbursement inquiries.

Typical duties include:

  • Receiving and directing customer service telephone calls.

  • Assisting customers in creating their bytetobite profiles or placing an order over the phone (only for pick-up).

  • Maintaining positive customer relationships by handling questions and concerns with speed and professionalism.

  • Resolving customer complaints, assisting restaurants with incoming calls, communicating with delivery platforms.

  • Performing Brand Checks, making sure our locations are digitally open when they need to be.

  • Producing Snooze Reports, making sure all our items are available for purchase across our locations.

  • Communicating with the rest of the bytetobite industries team as required through Telegram.

  • Handling customer refunds and making sure these requests are communicated to the appropriate channels.
