Job Description:
Scope of Work:
Provide engineering or technical support to assist North American Stainless operational teams with the creation and conversion of standard work instruction and job breakdown sheets. The provided support team will work directly with the shop floor and operations supervisor to gain a detailed understanding of the operational processes identified by the client. Each step, duration of the step, key points for how to perform the step, reasons why the step is performed that way, essential health and safety protocols, quality precautions and an image of the step will be recorded and added to the SWI and JBS document provided by the client. Areas of requested support are:

• Melt Shop
• Hot Mill
• Cold Mill
• Long Products

Required Skills:
• Engineering or technical degree with +2 years of experience or 15+ years of operational technical experience
• Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets
• Great shop floor communication skills
• Experience in steel industry preferred, not required
