The incumbent for this position will serve as the Air Quality Specialist for the Bureau of Land Management in California.
- Provides specialized and technical air and climate expertise to identify the effects of, and impacts to, climate and air quality in a timely fashion to assist in meeting BLM's obligations. - Provides technical expertise in activities pertaining to State of California and adjacent states and local air quality agency coordination, particularly regarding State and EPA development and review of State Implementation Plans (SIPs).
- The incumbent is responsible for the technical adequacy of air quality and climate program development and management, primarily for Bureau Land Use Plans and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).
