### Summary

This position is located in the organization identified above and
exercises responsibility for the final verification of all
securities that have been rejected at any stage during the printing
process due to printing or processing defects, or the production of
securities in excess of customer agency requirements. The
organizational title used by the Bureau of Engraving and Printing
(BEP) for this position is Final Verifier (Mutilated Paper Items).

### Responsibilities

As a Final Verifier (Mutilated Paper Items), you will:


-Perform final verification processes as final count verification of
test and mutilated currency sheets.

-Observe the counting of mutilated currency.

-Certify accurate count of package contents, individual packages and
units within a package.

-Check recorded load figures, load numbers and denominations for
accuracy.

**Physical Requirements:**

Considerable walking and standing is required of the employee in
this production environment, and bending and stooping are regular
requirements of the position. Some counting and verification duties
require lifting packages of currency that weigh 35 to 40 pounds.
Fingers, hands and arms must be used on a continuous basis to carry
out the final verification duties of the position.

AND

You must show in your experience in online application that you
possess the knowledge, skill and abilities to perform the duties of
the position. You must meet the screen-out element **(Ability To
Provide Production Support Services), **normally addressed at the
beginning of the online questions. In addition, you must also
obtain an average score of two (2) on all other elements for this
position as addressed through the online question in order to be
considered minimally qualified.
