A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FINANCIAL ANALYST

As a Financial Analyst, you're responsible for the cost controlling of customer orders through a variety of accounting tasks. You perform cost variance analyses as well as develop strategies and recovery plans to optimize costs and revenues. Working closely with our manufacturing team, you ensure accurate cost allocations are assigned to customer projects and customer service orders. You also manage the reporting and analyzing of our service station results as well as supporting our customer service team with conducting data-driven analyses.

Additionally, you oversee our month-end closing controlling activities and the reporting for multiple entities. You help establish yearly budgets, define hourly rates, monitor costs, and manage the workload for our service stations and field service functions. For our CS operations, you implement a business intelligence tool and observe dashboard reports. You also assist and lead various accounting projects relevant to improving operational efficiencies as well as assist the finance and controlling director with ad-hoc analysis and other projects as requested. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A FINANCIAL ANALYST

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, controlling, or a related field
• 1+ years of experience, preferably in a capital equipment manufacturing environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel

Systems, applications, and products (SAP) knowledge is preferred but multiple factors will be taken into consideration. Do you have excellent verbal and written communication skills?
