YOUR LIFE AS A CAPITAL EQUIPMENT SALES - ENGINEERING SUPPORT SPECIALIST

This full-time mechanical engineering and food science position works during business hours.

As a Capital Equipment Sales - Engineering Support Specialist with our sustainable technology company, you're responsible for assisting our account managers with plant and capital equipment sales for oats and corn. Using your knowledge of oats and corn processing, you create quotations for customers in collaboration with technologists and engineers. You maintain binders with technical documentation for customers as well as maintain pricing lists and prepare competitive pricing analyses. At times, you visit customer sites to take measurements and participate in concept discussions.

Additionally, you participate in transferring projects to our engineering team. As needed, you travel throughout the North American region with account managers and help identify new business opportunities or attend trade shows. You enjoy working with a wide range of products, and it brings you great satisfaction to know your mechanical engineering expertise contributes to our company in such a big way!

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• Bachelor's degree in chemical, process, food science, or mechanical engineering
• Background in oats or corn processing
• Willingness to travel overseas for training
• Strong mechanical and sales aptitude
