Bryn Mawr Veterinary Hospital is looking for a highly motivated, physically active, compassionate, mature, hard-working individual to join our animal caretaker team.
Duties include, but not limited to:
· Caring for boarding and hospitalized patients (cats and dogs)
· Cleaning and sanitizing indoor runs, cages and daycare rooms
· Preparing meals, including prescription diet special needs
· Provide exercise walks to boarding pets
· Provide TLC, snuggle time and other services to pets in our care
· Basic janitorial duties
· Basic hospital maintenance
· Positive interactions with clients including updates on pets in our care
· Positive communications with staff team members
Full time position available, includes weekends and holidays.
Ideal candidate would have experience in animal care and must be able to perform heavy physical tasks including standing for long periods of time. He/she should be reliable and possess the ability to work well on their own and as a team, initiative is a must.
Our veterinarians and staff are dedicated to providing the latest in veterinary care as well as excellent customer service. Our doctors are supported by a highly trained and skilled staff. A technician even resides above the hospital and keeps an eye on all overnight patients.
