The Advocate Liaison serves as a bridge between our Advocates and claimants to ensure fast and favorable outcomes with Social Security claims. This position partners closely with the primary handlers throughout the entire claim process to preserve and improve our client’s financial well-being. You’ll have the opportunity to establish relationships with clients by educating them on the Social Security application process and ensuring timely and accurate claim management. This is a non-exempt position that reports to the Supervisor of Client Advocacy.

What You’ll Do:

• Handle identified parts of the claim including transactional client calls, mail processing, and reviewing claim files to get exposure to the entire claim from start to finish
• Answer overflow calls and work with primary handler to ensure quick resolution
• Triage calls and emails as needed while answering questions from clients and SSA
• Learn and experience all areas of the process
• Cultivate strong business partnerships with external and internal customers
• Partner with internal operational groups to ensure smooth client progression at all process levels
• Other appropriate duties may be required from time to time

What We Need from You:

• Bachelor’s Degree and/or at least 2 years of work experience in a customer service organization or benefit claim organization preferred
• Social Security process knowledge preferred but not required
• Experience with Outlook and CRM (claim relationship management software) such as Sales Force or other CRM system preferred with the ability to learn new systems
• Demonstrate Company Core Competencies including quality focus, efficiency, persistence, accountability, client and company advocacy, and communication
