As the Operations Specialist, you will work closely with mutual fund families and clients to establish accounts with fund families,and verify broker dealer information via web or telephone. You will verify the accuracy of account setup files received from clients, as well as craft and submit automated account setup files to fund groups via NSCC interface. The role is also responsible for the analysis and resolution of inquiries from fund families regarding the proper setup of accounts. You'll also act as the backup the primary evening trading associate working a 3PM to 11PM shift.
+ Provide coverage and backup for team members
+ Assist on projects and conversion
+ Handle complex new account setups or maintenance issues such as:a. Omnibus setupsb. Level Comp/Weighted Average
+ Work with upper management on escalated issues
+ Ability to work independently
+ Great attention to detail
+ Proficiency with Excel
+ Experience in back office operations for financial or banking companies preferable
+ Experience with Mutual Fund companies preferable
+ Flexibility to work 3PM-11PM during daylight savings time
