FLSA: Non-Exempt

Status: Full-time, 40 hours/week

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm

Location: Either Muskegon or Holland, MI

Position Summary:

The HIM Analyst will support data integrity for both locations, under the supervision of the Director of Program Integrity. In this role, you will be responsible for pulling reports, analyzing data and information, and reporting outcomes to LifeCircles management teams. This role will hold primary responsibility for all regulatory reporting requirements, as well as reporting key performance indicators to management and the Board of Directors. This position will serve as Tier 1 support for EHR needs. • Responsible to routinely monitor EHR and utilization review data entry processes to evaluate compliance with established workflows and expectations.

• Conducts routine audits to evaluate the integrity of data entry and documentation processes.

• Works with LifeCircles team to assist with audit activities concerning EHR integrity, documentation review in EHR system, and audits the records for missing documentation.

• Conducts in-service training for LifeCircles EHR users as determined by the EHR Administrator and Director of Program Integrity.

• May assist in process reviews concerning federal and state quality measures and priorities.

• Assists the Program Integrity Department with preparation for certification surveys.

• Responsible to create and distribute monthly utilization review reports.

• Assists with internal and external surveys as needed.

• Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual data collection, analysis, and reporting as required by federal and state PACE agreements, LifeCircles business partners, and internal protocols under the direction of the Director of Program Integrity.


Position Qualifications:

• Associates degree with at least 1 year relevant experience, or

High School Diploma graduate or equivalent, and at least 2 years relevant work experience

• Experience Details: Healthcare/Data Analytics, proficient in MS Office, Word, Excel.

• Intermediate level knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, including a foundational knowledge of (trends/metrics/stats,etc.).

• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal or no supervision and as part of a team and to adapt quickly to new technologies.

• Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently.

• Strong organizational skills.


Desired Qualifications:

• Familiarity with medical terminology.

• Experience in health information systems environment.

• Knowledge and experience with electronic health record systems.

• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations.

• Writing system and training documentation.

• Excellent research skills.

• (EHR/Database transition/implementation experience)

• (Experience delivering in-person training sessions/presenting training materials)
