Our sales representative is a crucial part of our management team and will be responsible for developing the territory for our local BrightStar Care office. This full-time position offers a rewarding career with Tremendous Growth Potential in an environment that serves others and improves the lives of those in our community. Territory to be covered is Southeast Houston and Southwest Houston, including the Texas Medical Center area. Sales Rep Compensation and benefits:
  • The compensation plan will include a competitive base pay of $50,000 plus commissions for all sales. Commissions are uncapped, offering tremendous upside. To reach expected goals, first year earnings should exceed $70,000.

Responsibilities:
  • Call on hospital discharge planners, wound care and ortho clinics and other physicians, in order to generate referrals primarily for skilled services (nurse visits, physical therapy and occupational therapy)
  • Develop and implement a marketing plan for the territory assigned
  • Join and attend area networking groups
  • Seek, develop, and participate in marketing opportunities in the community
  • Meet or exceed established sales targets
Qualifications:
  • Must have a proven history of calling on hospitals, clinics and/or physicians 
  • Preference will be given to individuals who possess a sales background in home health sales, hospice sales, DME sales or pharmaceutical sales.
  • Proven ability to generate leads and monitor referrals, to manage a sales territory, maintain and build relationships with new and existing contacts
  • Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills, multi-tasking and problem solving
  • Comfortable with closing/asking for business
  • Exhibit outstanding organizational skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business management or communications, is preferred. Work experience may be substituted for a college degree.
