FedEx Truck Delivery Driver

FedEx is now hiring Full Time and Part Time Delivery drivers in the Hermon, ME area! We offer great insurance benefits! (See details below). $16.50/hr starting pay, even during training!

Drivers will be operating out of the FedEx Ground terminal in Hermon, ME and will be making deliveries to local residences and businesses in the surrounding cities. Our drivers will be operating transits, box trucks, and step van style trucks provided by the employer.

CDL License is NOT required!!! Come and join a great transportation team! Amazon, UPS, USPS, FedEx, or DHL experience is a plus!

Work Hours- Wednesday-Sunday, 7am until route completion (most drivers finish up around 4pm or earlier) Part time drivers needed for Sundays

Weekly Paycheck: $16.50/hour with additional earnings available for increasing stop count and helping teammates. Plus safety bonuses for great drivers!

Delivery Driver Requirements:

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record

• Applicants must be 21 years of age or older

• 1 Year of Driving Experience for a job (Uber/construction/lanscaping/medical transport/etc)

• Must be able to pass a Drug Test and DOT Medical / Physical Exam (Paid by Employer!)

• Must submit to a background check

• Physically able to handle packages up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work a 6th day during peak season (between Thanksgiving and Christmas)

Delivery Driver Responsibilities:

• Arrive at FedEx terminal to pick up vehicle and packages

• Loading and Unloading packages from truck

• Delivering packages to destination

• Scanning and Logging Packages

• Accurately delivering 90-110 stops per day on average

• Practicing safe driving techniques
