COMMUNITY HOUSING COORDINATOR
Basic Job Duties
Assume major responsibility for overseeing all activities offered at identified community housing facilities serving persons with developmental disabilities and/or mental illness.
Prefer Bachelor's degree or 2 years supervisory experience in field of human service. Must have high school diploma or general education degree (GED); Minimum of two years related human service experience. Prefer previous supervisory experience. Must have Mental Health Professional (MHP) and Direct Service Personnel (DSP) status.
Excellent managerial and organizational skills; the ability to work in collaboration and cooperation with management staff and ability to provide leadership to staff required. Must have good communication, social and assessment skills. Willingness to work flexible hours and basic computer navigation and word processing skills essential.
Must have reliable transportation, valid driver license, proof of car insurance, and good driving record. Must attend Blood Borne Pathogen and OIG, within first 10 working days of hire and annually thereafter; must obtain and maintain CPR and First Aid training after hired. Must attend corporate compliance and security rule training. If licensed, required to maintain licensure requirements.
