Breckenridge & Associates, LLC is experiencing excellent growth and we are currently looking for a Sr. Project Manager to join our team, either as a full-time employee or contractor. In this role, you will be working directly with one of our partners to support the US Department of Treasury, Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) in Washington, DC. For the right fit, we would also consider making this position a company management role, in charge of our DC office. Please note that local candidates in the Washington, DC metro area are strongly preferred.
Key requirements for this position:
Minimum of 10 years of hands-on project management experience
Program management experience a plus
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Recent experience working as a PM on federal government contract(s)
Excellent client relations, communication and leadership skills
Self-directed professional and good team player
Solid grasp of project management best practices
Experience working with cloud technology and/or managing a cloud services program. Technologies include: identify access management (IMA) solution (Okta) and a cloud access security broker (CASB) solution (Netskope).
Experience managing a large technology vendor supporting the cloud technology implementations and management
Excellent meeting facilitation skills and detailed tracking of project activities
Skilled at developing and managing a project schedule using tools such as MS Project and other tools
Manage the cloud services program and oversee technology vendor doing the implementation and migration work. Client is planning to migrate 3 existing cloud services to the new technologies, and this activity will fall under the Sr. PM
Coordinate activities of the multi-disciplinary project team to ensure project success
Develop and maintain project schedules using client tool of choice
Provide regular status reporting to provide stakeholders with an accurate picture of the project status
Use best practices in project management to ensure control and effective management of the scope, risks, communications and related aspects of the project
Build strong rapport with partner consulting company to help grow our DC-based business
