The Senior Project Manager - Fixtures, Furniture & Equipment manages hotel refresh projects for the Air Force, the Navy lodging program (on base hotels), and the Marine Corps lodging program.

Job Requirement:
  • Supports the Executive of FF&E in maintaining the Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps FF&E projects.
  • Directs the estimating, proposing, purchasing, delivering, executing, and closing of projects.
  • Works closely with the Customer Relations manager to plan for new proposals and contracts.
  • Ensures attainment of financial and operational goals.
  • Coordinates with the Interior Designers on design submittals, pricing and project development through project completion as necessary.
  • Works with clients, sub-contractors, and suppliers to determine scope of work requirements.
  • Ensures quality and productivity of vendors and sub-contractors.
  • Assembles teams of sub-contractors.
  • Estimates scopes of work.
  • Develops proposal and execution strategies that ensure project financial and execution goals are achieved.
  • Uses effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Works with the Procurement Specialist to ensure purchase orders and subcontracts support project requirements and schedules.
  • Identifies and corrects quality issues pertaining to products as well as processes.
  • Adheres to standard project estimation, approval, and change order control processes.
  • Defines project management plans including definition of roles and responsibilities.
  • Works with the QC/Safety Leader to ensure project quality and safety.
  • Identifies issues and risks and develops approaches to minimize and mitigate.
  • Reports project status regularly and ensures project contracts, budgets, costs, and change orders are accurately input and maintained into SAGE.
  • Resolves conflict and escalates issues when necessary.
  • Creates budgets and manages budgeted cost to actual expenditures.
  • Creates and manages work breakdown structures and schedules.
  • Manages and supervises project team resources as needed.
  • Controls scope and schedule changes through a formal change management process.
  • Drives the final punch list to ensure timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Finalizes project completion documentation.
  • Ensures payment applications are submitted in a timely manner and payments are received
  • Preforms other duties as necessary or assigned.

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, interior design, construction management, government contracts or similar preferred
  • 5 or more years' experience in commercial construction, interior renovations, interior design and/or FF&E
  • 3 or more years' experience managing interior renovation projects
  • Experience in managing federal/Department of Defense construction/interior design projects preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook, SharePoint, Teams
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage one's time and priorities
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Valid driver's license required
