Graphic Designer (1099 Employment)

Our company is hiring a part-time graphic designer to work on our internal and client facing designs. You will work together with our developer and project manager to produce presentations and digital content for our company, branded elements such as logo, website layout, one pagers, and other design needs. The internship gives you an opportunity to learn more about business needs. This role is also perfect for businesses seeking designers for ongoing roles. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design, along with excellent skills in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or InDesign. To succeed in this role, you should have strong visual design ability and attention to detail. We want you to be creative and innovative, while being able to work well on teams.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design on various projects such as Logo design, web design, video production, and other brand/marketing initiatives.

• Assist with the design of brand and product illustration, event collateral, internal materials/invites/signage, and other similar brand-centric projects

• Understand the Branded Mind’s brand guidelines and maintain consistency across channels

• Assist the team in developing core brand assets

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and project managers to determine projects and priorities

• Developing branded elements for our social media channels and email campaigns

Basic Qualifications :

• Minimum of four (4) years of graphic design experience

• Must provide a graphic design portfolio that demonstrates knowledge in composition, hierarchy, and color theory as well as a clear understanding of typography and layout

• Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe creative suite with emphasis on Illustrator and Photoshop and InDesign

• Proficiency in Microsoft office suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

• Proven familiarity with both print and digital production workflows

• Demonstrated organizational and time management skills

• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, delegating as appropriate

• Ability to handle multiple projects with short deadlines

• Ability to articulate conceptual and design decisions to peers and senior leadership

• Must be comfortable giving and receiving constructive feedback on a regular basis

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
