Job Description

Boxout, is a Northeast Ohio based company with over 72 years of continuous success selling nationally to healthcare and medical practices. We are currently looking for a professional, motivated  Director of West Coast Operations.

This position will be responsible for promoting and maintaining a positive and rewarding work environment while achieving a high level of customer service and operational effectiveness. The ideal candidate will possess dynamic leadership qualities and communication skills with a proven ability to effectively manage a facility, engage and develop a highly effective team and successfully lead a world-class distribution center.

Our fast paced environment driven by company growth requires strong team building and people development skills along with the ability to adapt to industry and customer demands. Candidates will have a strong productivity and process management background with a proven ability to manage and successfully lead a world-class Distribution Center.

 The Director will be responsible for:

§  Boxout Distribution Centers in TX and CA, as well as future expansions

§  Directing and coordinating daily workflow activities including inbound, outbound, inventory control and returns for our CA facility

§  Operational performance and oversight of our TX Distribution Center

§  Providing leadership that drives operational excellence and continuous improvement through application of Lean and 6 Sigma concepts

§  Achieving operational goals including productivity, quality, service and safety

§  Monitoring quality and appropriateness of services and products

§  Recruiting, hiring, training and development of team

§  Driving vision, mission and values throughout the team

 

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of warehouse distribution management
  • Experience in delivering large projects, including automation and robotics
  • Strong project management and organization skills
  • Experience working cross functionally with customer service, supply chain, and sales
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Proven performance with regards to employee development, tactical execution and continuous improvement
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
