Boxer Six is seeking Account Manager(s) to drive sales and manage retail accounts in the Bay Area and throughout Central and Northern California. This dynamic role’s primary goals is to lead sales growth, build relationships with retailers and represent the Boxer Six lifestyle brand at local cannabis industry (and non-cannabis) events within your assigned territory. This individual will be responsible for getting products through dispensary doors and on to the sales floor while ensuring the staff is well-equipped, educated and enthusiastic about Boxer Six products and recommending them to customers.

Job Duties

  1. Buy into the Boxer Six lifestyle brand and mission to elevate cannabis edibles and consumer experiences with innovative products and pure, natural ingredients

  2. Have fun and a positive attitude doing #1!

  3. Be a great communicator, educator and product category expert to retail partners and staff

  4. Drive growth in your region through a consultative sales approach and keen eye for opportunities to grow your book of business

  5. Establish and build relationships with retail accounts, distribution partners and local communities to grow brand awareness and recognition

  6. Work closely with marketing and branding teams to maximize in-store and community events

  7. Utilize sales and marketing experience along with additional Boxer Six coordinated development training and tools to gain market share

  8. Diligently seek new business and marketing opportunities for Boxer Six brand and products

  9. Utilize CRM, sales tools and training for customer communication and education

  10. Relentlessly engage with retail stakeholders in store locations to support effective training, product merchandising and generate sales

Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Consistently manage CRM (HubSpot)

  • Customer communications

  • Account/purchase order management

  • Record keeping and activity tracking

  • Sales/marketing materials distribution and management

  • Work closely with distribution partners to keep track of orders and delivery

  • Manage budget and expenses regularly (weekly/monthly)

  • Regularly review sales performance (KPI’s), market/product trends and data - Be data driven!

  • Utilize personal and professional development training and tools

  • Account reporting and business forecasting

 

Preferred Experience and Skills

  • 3-5+ years of sales and account management experience

  • 1-3 years’ experience - cannabis industry and CPG preferred

  • Strong understanding of cannabis industry, market knowledge and product categories

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills in a sales/business environment

  • Business-minded professional passionate about cannabis

  • Ability to clearly communicate technical and scientific applications in food and natural supplement production

  • Multi-tasker, organized and skilled in time management

  • Self-motivated with competitive spirit

  • Creative, critical thinker that can identify opportunities for sales

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

 

Additional Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older to apply

  • Must have valid driver’s license

  • Currently located in the Bay Area

  • Must have access to reliable vehicle or alternative mode of transportation and able to commute throughout the Northern California territory

  • Able to travel locally ~ 25%

    • Occasional nights and weekends for company meetings and industry events
