Boxcar Brunswick Cook at Boxcar Catering

Boxcar Burgers serves locally sourced grass fed beef hamburgers and hand cut fries. We are looking for a full time cook with an interest in preparing and serving high quality locally sourced casual American food. Our goal is to make awesome food, be nice, and support local agriculture and independent brands.

• We are seeking someone who can work quickly and cleanly under pressure and still be fun to be around.
• Some back of the house experience is very helpful but willing to train the right person

Pay starts between $14-17 plus tips. Health insurance and paid sick time off available to full time staff. Ideal schedule would be Wed/Thurs evening and full days Fri-Sun, but there is some flexibility.

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $14.00 - $17.00/hour.

We are extraordinarily lucky to live in a region rich with amazing agricultural land and small farmers that are committed to providing world class meats, produce, and dairy. We proudly source all of our proteins from Frederick County farms who raise their animals right. That means grass fed & finished beef, pastured pork, and free range chicken & eggs. These farming methods are better for the animals, the environment, and produce the highest quality and best tasting ingredients available. We are also extremely proud to offer the new vegan Impossible Burger on board both trucks. Boxcar Black also regularly offers Chao "cheese" and Just Mayo Boxcar sauce to make sure vegan guests get the same great Boxcar flavors. We can usually be found in Frederick County, MD or Loudon County, VA at one of the region's numerous breweries or wineries. We are also available for special events and corporate catering.
