MANAGER OF INTERNSHIP PROGRAMS, Student Affairs, Center for Career Development
As a member of the Employer Engagement Team and in collaboration with the Career Education Team, the Manager of Internship Programs participates in outreach to employers in all private business and non-profit industry sectors to create and/or maintain internship opportunities for students in all majors. The position also participates in fostering and managing relationships with BU alumni for internship opportunities. The Manager for Internship Programs plans and organizes internship and career development activities and programs for BU students through individual career advising, coaching and counseling; career education workshops; and career events. Additionally, the Manager actively participates in resume development, interview skills, and internship search processes. The Manager is also responsible for collecting data related to student and employer internship participation and success, and developing reports for stakeholders as directed.
Bachelors degree required. Masters degree preferred. A minimum of 2-3 years of directly related experience in undergraduate student advising, coaching, or counseling as well as experience in outreach to internal and external partners and stakeholders. Demonstrated abilities and experience in workshop development and presentation. Analytical skills relative to creating and delivering reports on program metrics and assessment.
