The Section of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Boston University School of Medicine/ Boston Medical Center seeks a Clinical Investigator to lead its program in Gastrointestinal Oncology.

Under its new Chief, Dr. Matthew Kulke, the Hematology-Oncology Section brings the resources of a major academic medical center to serve a diverse patient population in the city of Boston and New England. The Section provides a full range of modern diagnostic and therapeutic services for patients with cancer and blood diseases; carries out clinical and laboratory research to improve outcomes for these diseases; and trains physicians and investigators to carry on this mission in the future.

We recruit clinicians who demand excellence in clinical care, push the status quo of current treatment limitations, desire to make a lasting contribution, and are willing to work with a team to deliver great care, not just great medicine. Responsibilities will include assisting in the development of new programs and clinical services, providing training to technical staff as needed, and participating in clinical research and design. The ideal candidate will have success and experience collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
