Job Description

New hires can earn $500 bonus their first day + $500 bonus after 6 months

We are looking for a reliable Delivery Driver who is concerned with customer satisfaction and transporting items in a safe, timely manner. The Delivery Driver will pick up and drop off items while adhering to assigned routes and time schedules. You should be willing to work as part of a team in order to ensure that the items are complete, packed correctly, and safely delivered to the correct client.

To succeed as a Delivery Driver, you should be polite and prompt with a commitment to providing our clients with an excellent experience. You should be thorough in ensuring orders are properly fulfilled and committed to work safety.

Delivery Driver Responsibilities:

· Driving/Operating 20 foot Box Truck.

Loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner.

· Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete.

· Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles.

· Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients.

· Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.

· Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.

· Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries.

Delivery Driver Requirements:

· High School Diploma or equivalent.

· Valid driver's license issued by the state of California.

· Clean driving record.

· Some experience preferred.

· Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws.

· Strong time management and customer service skills.

· Ability to walk, drive, and lift and carry heavy items for extended periods.

· Attention to detail.

Border Grill Hospitality Group is an established restaurant brand, owned by celebrity chef duo Susan Feniger and Mary Sue Milliken. Originally opened in 1985 as a small, forty seat taco stand, Border Grill now encompasses restaurants, gourmet food trucks and a full service event catering business. Company is based in Los Angeles and has since expanded to restaurants in Las Vegas at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino (1999), Border Grill Trucks (2009), and locations at Los Angeles International Airport and Rose Bowl. In June 2018, Milliken and Feniger debuted BBQ Mexicana a fast casual eatery with locations at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, Las Vegas Ballpark, most recently inside the new Allegiant Stadium. The chefs returned to Santa Monica with Socalo, a California canteen and Mexican pub, in December 2019.

Chefs Mary Sue Milliken and Susan Feniger have been working together for over three decades, and are regarded as pioneers of the Los Angeles restaurant scene, since opening City Café in 1981, CITY in 1985, Ciudad in 1998, along with developing the Border Grill brand into the successful company it is today. The two chefs are also national media fixtures, starring in nearly 400 episodes of their original show “Too Hot Tamales” and numerous episodes of “Top Chef Masters,” authors of five cookbooks, and countless appearances on national talk and morning shows. Additionally, both chefs have led the industry as early champions of sustainability and community involvement, through long standing partnerships with Monterey Bay Aquarium & Seafood Watch, Share Our Strength & No Kid Hungry, Scleroderma Research Foundation, LA Gay & Lesbian Center, OXFAM, James Beard Foundation, and Chefs Collaborative.
