Our corporate headquarters is a 265,000 square foot facility located in Yorkville, Illinois with additional offices in The Dominican Republic. We have a staff of over 100 committed professionals, who strive to BE what no one else is and GIVE what no else will to our customers.

Position Summary:

The Graphic and Production Design Artist will be responsible for creating customer mock-ups which will include the creation, set up and maintenance of production files for customized apparel, equipment, accessories, bags and shoes for full dye sublimation, screen-print, and embroidery. This artist will also conceptualize, design and execute trend-appropriate designs for in stock and custom products.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Creates and develops customer/internal mock-ups for apparel including but not limited to athletic uniforms, spirit wear and branded garment and or/equipment, shoes, accessories or bags.
  • Prepares, creates, and updates customer and/or design files and submits approved electronic files to production facility or vendors as appropriate
  • Researches, Consults and follows established garment and product specifications related to image size and placement when creating and inserting artwork into apparel and/or a equipment, shoe, bag and accessory to orders to ensure completed file meets production and/or customer requirements.
  • Contacts customers, production facility and customer care or vendor either through email or phone as appropriate to go discuss order/project requirements in an effort to gain clarification or approval on assigned orders/projects.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Associates Degree in Digital Design, Graphic Design, Art or related field required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Commensurate experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum 1- 3 years of experience working as a Production Artist, Graphic Artist or Jr. Graphic Designer Production Artist in either in an in-house creative or agency environment.
  • Extreme proficiency and knowledge with Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Photoshop, In Design and Acrobat on a Mac Platform required.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage multi projects.
  • Proven ability to work in fast paced environment with tight deadlines while being detail orientated.
  • Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-Starter who that is a strong team player and successful collaborator and takes ownership.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
